Biotechnology

ECBC has two facilities that accommodate research and development in the field of biotechnology. These facilities are staffed with scientists who have extensive experience performing a complete array of bioanalytical and bioprocess procedures. Researchers also are responsible for planning, performing and consulting on basic and applied research for CB defense materials in the areas of environmental science, pharmacology, toxicology, microbiology, biotechnology and related life sciences, as well as research and application of alternatives to animal testing.
